1. Acceptance Letter from a Recognized Danish Institution

2. Valid Passport

  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least 90 days beyond your intended date of arrival in Denmark.

3. Completed Application Form (ST1)

  • Fill out the ST1 form for a residence and work permit for students.
  • The educational institution in Denmark initiates the application process by filling in one part of the form before forwarding it to you.

4. Passport-Sized Photographs

  • Submit two recent passport-sized photographs (35mm x 45mm) with a white background.

5. Academic Transcripts and Certificates

  • Provide copies of all academic records, certificates, or transcripts of studies previously undertaken.
  • Ensure these documents are translated into English if they are in another language.

6. Proof of Financial Support

  • Demonstrate sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses in Denmark.
  • For students at folk high schools, basic or youth education programs, or students who do not pay tuition fees, you must document sufficient financial means of DKK 50,000.
  • This amount must be substantiated by opening an account with a Danish or European bank in your name.

7. Medical Examination

  • Undergo a medical examination at an approved medical center in Bangladesh.
  • Submit the medical report as part of your application.

8. Health Insurance

  • Obtain valid health insurance coverage for the duration of your stay in Denmark.
  • Ensure the insurance meets the requirements set by Danish authorities.

9. Visa Application Submission

  • Submit your visa application through the VFS Global Visa Application Center in Bangladesh.
  • The application will be processed by the Danish Embassy.
  • An appointment is required for document submission.

10. Visa Processing Fees

  • Be prepared to pay the necessary visa processing fees, which may vary depending on the institution and program.
  • Fees typically range from BDT 12,000 to BDT 18,000.
