Student Visa Requirements

1. Acceptance Letter from a Recognized Turkish Institution

  • Obtain an official admission letter from a Turkish university or college approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in Turkey.
  • Ensure the institution is registered with the Education Turkey Global Services (ETGS).

2. Valid Passport

  • Passport must be valid for at least 90 days beyond your intended date of arrival in Turkey.

3. Completed Student Visa Application Form

4. Passport-Sized Photographs

  • Submit two recent passport-sized photographs (35mm x 45mm) with a white background.

  • Ensure these documents are translated into English if they are in another language.

6. Proof of Financial Support

  • Show sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses in Turkey.

7. Medical Examination

  • Undergo a medical examination at an approved medical center in Bangladesh.
  • Submit the medical report as part of your application.

8. Health Insurance

  • Obtain valid health insurance coverage for the duration of your stay in Turkey.
  • Ensure the insurance meets the requirements set by ETGS.

9. Single Entry Visa (SEV)

  • Bangladeshi citizens need a Single Entry Visa before entering Turkey.
  • Submit your SEV application along with the required documents to the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka.

10. Visa Processing Fees

  • Be prepared to pay the necessary visa processing fees, which may vary depending on the institution and program.
  • Fees typically range from BDT 15,000 to BDT 25,000.

  • The processing time for a Turkish student visa is generally between 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Apply well in advance to avoid delays.
